Instructions for water sampling

The minimum volume of water for analysis depends on the selected number of indicators

1

Leave the water to drainfor 5-10 minutes

2

Rinse the bottle and lid with water taken for analysis without using detergents

3

Pour water carefully over the wall of the bottle so that there are no air bubbles in it

4

Fill the bottle with water to the top to keep a minimum of air in the bottle. Close the lid tightly

The laboratory performs analysis of water quality of wastewater/process water/mine water for compliance with applicable standards based on the following indicators:

    suspended solids

    chromaticity

    pH

    temperature

    BOD

    iron

    calcium

    chlorides

    phenols

    ammonium (ammonium nitrogen, ammonia)

    aluminum

    copper

    sulfates

    dissolved oxygen

    chrome

    phosphates

    nickel

    petroleum products

    zinc

    COD

    nitrates

    nitrites

    anionic surfactants

    dry residue/mineralization/TDS

The laboratory tests ion exchange resins on the following indicators:

General indicators:

    appearance

    particle size distribution

    fractional composition

    mass fraction of moisture

    osmotic stability

Additional indicators:

    dynamic exchange capacity

    pH of the filtrate

    alkali content

    mass fraction of iron

    mass fraction of chlorine ions

The laboratory tests activated carbon on the following indicators:

General indicators:

    appearance

    adsorption activity on iodine

    iodine number

    mass fraction of moisture

    mass fraction of ash
