About the Center
A new branch of production activity has appeared in Ukraine, which requires professionally trained modern specialists. Until recently, there was no higher education institution in Ukraine that trains specialists in this field.

It came into force on July 1, 2021

at the Faculty of Chemical Technology

Certificate program «Water and modern water technologies»
Goal - training of qualified specialists in the field of modern methods of water treatment and purification. The certificate program is designed for both masters of the Faculty of Chemical Technology National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” and external students.
Scientific research
Conducting scientific researches of modern processes of water treatment and water purification in the educational and experimental technological laboratory.

CERTIFICATE PROGRAM «WATER AND MODERN WATER TECHNOLOGIES»

List of educational components of the program:

  • Modern methods of air conditioning and water purification. Course project on modern methods of air conditioning and water purification
What will be studied - current issues of drinking and process water; modern methods, materials and technologies of its conditioning and purification in the conditions of centralized and decentralized water treatment.

  • Modern methods of domestic and industrial wastewater treatment and reuse
What will be studied - modern methods, materials and technologies for domestic and industrial wastewater treatment and reuse.

  • Information support of scientific research
What will be studied - modern methods of information processing, databases, calculation of parameters of modern systems under given conditions; digitalization of water treatment and purification processes; innovation and entrepreneurship.
